Jennifer's Story

Jennifer London is an award-winning journalist and professional photographer. As a broadcast journalist for 22 years Jennifer covered the President, the Pope and politics, but most importantly people. Jennifer’s assignments have taken her to nearly all 50 US states, Europe, Latin America, South East Asia and the West Indies.  Jennifer has also partnered with Travelling Yogi Retreats as their principal company photographer. She’s travelled and photographed yoga retreats in Costa Rica, Bali, Vietnam and in her home country of Mexico. In addition, Jennifer’s humanitarian work, with Habitat for Humanity's Global Village Program, has taken her to East and West Africa, Papua New Guinea, Nepal and Kyrgyzstan.

In her free time in Mexico, Jennifer works with local animal shelters making photographs of adoptable dogs in search of their furever homes. Jennifer believes you can’t buy love, but you can rescue it and she’s dedicating to helping as many dogs as she can.

Jennifer’s approach to photography is seeing every situation as a story to tell by creating captivating and inspiring images - a photo essay from a humanitarian trip to Nepal, a refugee camp in Ghana, a Quinceañera in Mexico, a private photo shoot on the beach at sunset, or a sweet pooch rescued from the streets. Jennifer has traveled to 54 countries with her trusty DSLR camera, fondly named Guillermo (after Frida Kahlo’s father who was a photographer). Life. Lens. Listo!

"To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place...I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them." - Elliott Erwitt
